Frequently Asked Questions
Welcome to Taylored Path Nutrition & Herbal Medicine. These FAQs introduce Taylor, explain the Taylored Path approach, outline how consultations work, clarify who services are designed for and help you understand what to expect before booking.
-
Taylored Path provides personalized holistic nutrition, herbal medicine and wellness support for anxiety, chronic stress, nervous system regulation, mental wellness, disordered eating and overall health.
Taylor looks beyond isolated symptoms to understand how nutrition, blood sugar, digestion, sleep, stress, lifestyle, medications, supplements and emotional well-being may be connected.
Her approach is shaped by both professional training and lived experience with disordered eating and navigating mental-health challenges, bringing added empathy, practical insight and a non-judgmental perspective to client care.
Recommendations may include nutrition education, meal-pattern support, lifestyle strategies, herbal considerations and practical tools designed to complement—not replace—appropriate medical and mental-health care.
The goal is to help clients better understand their bodies and build realistic, sustainable habits that fit their lives.

A complimentary discovery call can help determine whether the services are appropriate for your needs.
-
The complimentary 15-minute discovery call is an opportunity to briefly discuss your concerns, goals and expectations.
Taylor will explain how her services work, answer general questions and help determine whether the approach is a suitable fit.
The discovery call is not a full consultation and does not include individualized health recommendations.
-
What happens during an initial consultation?
The initial consultation includes a detailed review of your health history, nutrition habits, lifestyle, stress levels, sleep, digestion, medications, supplements and wellness goals.
Taylor may ask questions about factors that could be influencing your symptoms and will use this information to develop an individualized support plan.
Are consultations available online?
Virtual consultations may be available depending on your location and the nature of the support required.
You must provide your correct physical location at the time of a virtual appointment. Services may be declined where jurisdictional, professional-scope or safety limitations apply.
How long are consultations?
Appointment lengths depend on the service selected. Your booking confirmation will show the scheduled appointment duration.
Initial consultations are generally longer than follow-up appointments because they include a more detailed review of your history and goals.
How many appointments will I need?
The number of appointments varies depending on your concerns, goals and the level of support required.
Some people may benefit from a small number of focused appointments, while others may prefer ongoing support over several months.
No specific number of appointments or outcome can be guaranteed.
Will I receive a personalized plan?
Where appropriate, clients may receive individualized nutrition, lifestyle or herbal recommendations based on the information discussed during the consultation.
Recommendations may evolve as progress, tolerance, preferences and health circumstances change.
Do you provide meal plans?
Nutrition guidance may include meal structure, food ideas, balanced eating strategies and practical recommendations.
Highly restrictive or rigid meal plans are not always appropriate, particularly for clients with anxiety, disordered eating or a history of food restriction. Recommendations are tailored to the individual.
-
Can holistic nutrition help with anxiety?
Nutrition may support factors connected to mental wellness, including blood sugar stability, nutrient intake, digestion, sleep, energy and stress regulation.
However, anxiety can have many causes and may require medical, psychological or psychiatric care. Nutrition and herbal medicine are complementary approaches and are not replacements for appropriate treatment.
Do you treat anxiety or mental-health conditions?
No. Taylored Path does not diagnose, treat or cure anxiety disorders or other mental-health conditions.
Services are designed to provide complementary nutrition, herbal and wellness support alongside appropriate care from physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists and other regulated healthcare professionals.
Can I work with Taylored Path while seeing a therapist or doctor?
Yes. Taylored Path is intended to complement appropriate medical and mental-health care.
Clients are encouraged to continue working with their existing healthcare team. Taylor may also recommend additional medical, psychological, pharmaceutical or dietetic support where appropriate.
Is this service suitable during a mental-health crisis?
No. Taylored Path does not provide crisis counselling, emergency care or acute psychiatric services.
Do not use the website, email, contact form or social media for emergency assistance.
If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, is at risk of self-harm or requires urgent medical or psychiatric support, contact emergency services or an appropriate crisis service immediately.
-
Do you work with people experiencing disordered eating?
Taylored Path may provide complementary nutrition education and wellness support for people experiencing disordered eating patterns.
Eating disorders and significant disordered eating can require medical monitoring and multidisciplinary treatment. Services may need to be coordinated with a physician, psychologist or specialized eating-disorder team.
Do you provide eating-disorder treatment?
No. Taylored Path does not replace specialized eating-disorder treatment, medical monitoring, or psychotherapy.
Taylor may decline, pause or discontinue services if a client requires a higher level of care or if appropriate medical and mental-health supports are not in place.
Can family members receive support?
Family members may benefit from education about supportive communication, nutrition-related concerns and how to avoid unintentionally reinforcing restrictive or harmful patterns.
Family support is educational and does not replace professional family therapy or specialized eating-disorder care.
-
Do you recommend herbs and supplements?
Herbal or supplement recommendations may be discussed when appropriate, but they are never automatic.
Taylor considers medications, health conditions, allergies, pregnancy, breastfeeding, medical procedures and other safety factors before discussing herbal options.
Are herbs safe to use with medication?
Not always. Herbs and supplements can interact with prescription and non-prescription medications.
Some interactions may change how a medication works or increase the risk of side effects. Always inform your physician and pharmacist about any herbs or supplements you are considering.
Do not stop, reduce or change medication without consulting the prescribing healthcare professional.
Do I have to take supplements?
No. Supplements are not required for every client.
Food, lifestyle, affordability, preferences, safety and practicality are considered first. Recommendations are discussed collaboratively, and you can ask questions before deciding what is right for you.
-
How do I book an appointment?
You can begin by booking a complimentary discovery call or by contacting Taylored Path through the website.
Once an appointment is confirmed, you may receive intake forms or instructions to complete before the consultation.
What is the cancellation policy?
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments may be charged, except where Taylored Path agrees that exceptional circumstances apply.
Late arrival may reduce the available appointment time without reducing the appointment fee.
Are appointments refundable?
Completed appointments, completed work and digital materials already delivered are non-refundable.
Programs, packages and prepaid services are subject to the terms provided at the time of booking or purchase.
Unused prepaid services may be refunded, credited or transferred only at the discretion of Taylored Path Nutrition & Herbal Medicine and subject to applicable law.
Are services covered by insurance?
Coverage varies by insurance provider and individual plan.
Clients are responsible for confirming coverage directly with their insurer before booking. Taylored Path cannot guarantee that services will be reimbursed.
What payment methods are accepted?
Available payment options will be discussed during booking or provided before the appointment.
Payment may be required before or at the time of the consultation, depending on the service selected.
